After Decorating, During
Reception
|
It was a lovely evening.
When it began, I was still
putting together the bridesmaids
bouquets,
but everything turned out
lovely. I was so
thrilled to have all the
help I was given.
So many put so many long
hours into this to make
it just as I'd always dreamed.
While I was standing in the
line, I found a needle still
hanging from a thread on
my jacket. I had been up to
2 am finishing it the night
before!

The Cake
Made by Loralyn Hansen

The photographer got them all posed for
the traditional picture and then when they went to cut the cake, and the
photographer said... "Ok, now cut it". Brandon looked at Crystal and
she said, "We can't! It is rice crispy treats!" They ended up
cutting another layer.
A Victorian tradition we enjoyed, was
each groomsman and each bridesmaid pulled a charm out of the cake, each
signifying their future. IE: Wedding bells - Next to et married.
Cameo - Beauty; and so forth.
Richard said some words, as did Dan Dever.
Derek gave a very nice toast, and Jen Grover spoke a little bit about her
experiences with Crystal. Jen Sang two songs.
When it was time to toss the bouquet and
garter, I asked Crystal if she had it on, and she didn't. We had to
dash to the dressing room to remedy that.
Derek (her brother) Caught the garter and
Janeal ( her sister) caught the bouquet! I told everything their colors
had better be lavendar and silver! |
