~Happy Holidays!
We wish you and your family
a safe and happy holiday season!
~Crocker Ranch Park
Now OPEN! ( children's
area still closed off )
~Please
Put Your Trash Cans Away!
We hae had a few requests
to remind homeowners to please put their trash cans away ( behind your
gate, in the garage, etc) on the non-trash days. ( Weds- Sun) so that we
can keep our neighborhood looking nice and clean.
~Crocker Ranch Gas Station
If you are against the
gas station going up on the corner of Blue Oaks and Woodcreek Oaks, email
the Wall Street Property Company ( Wspc_bd@packbell.net ) Jeffrey Wood,
or Chris Robles at the City of Roseville ( crobles@roseville.ca.us) sharing
your opinion. They have considered replacing the gas station with
retail space. Let them know how you feel about it.
~Decorate the outside
of your House.
Let's show Portafino and
La Rochelle how it's done and have the best decorated neighborhood in Crocker
Ranch! We need everyhouse to put up something. Show your Holiday
Spirit!

Quick and Easy
~
1 lb hamburger ( I prefer less than 10% fat )
1/4 c Instant rice ( Uncle Ben's, and yes it does make
a difference! )
1/4 c bread crumbs - crumbled, not cubed
1/4 t sage
1/4 t pepper
1/4 t onion salt
1/4 t oregano
1/4 t paprika
( or 1/2 t seasoning salt works too instead of the spices )
2 eggs - beaten
1/4 c barbeque sauce
1/4 c grated cheese ( cheddar or jack work best )
Toss all ingredients together except for barbeque sauce and grated
cheese. I use my hands, it
is very gushy, but it makes me feel like I am really cooking.
:: grins ::
Shape and place in a Large loaf pan. Make an indent in
the center, along the length of the
loaf. Sprinkle grated cheese, then cover up with loaf.
Top with Sauce.
Cook at 450 for 35 - 45 minutes d'pending on your tastes.
Serve with potatoes and green beans and hot muffins. Yum!

Antidotes
On Halloween night, one
house looked just like all the others, but. . . when the children went
up to it, they were invited into the garage which was filled with furniture
and a tv set with only fuzz on it. The children were offered candy,
and as they took something. . . a man jumped out. One little boy
looked frightened at first, then he was NOT going to let anyone get HIS
candy. . . and he started swinging his pillowcase full of loot for all
he was worth! The surprise was then on the goblin!

Girls Night Out
Some women have expressed interest in getting together once a
month to play Bunco. If you are interested, contact Becky Barry to
sign up or to get more details.
Several ideas have been suggested for girls nights out. We
have had scrapbooking parties, Pampered Chef parties, Longaburger parties,
and even field trips around the area.
If you need a baby sitter, many are available in our neighborhood.
A neighborhood that takes care of its own, is a safe neighborhood.
It is said that a child is raised by a community. Lets make sure
that we know those who are helping us raise ours.
-
If you babysit or are available to do so, please contact one of the
board members and we will make sure your services are listed in the Advertising
section.

This is very interesting...please
take time to read this:
A cardiologist says it's
the truth....
Heart Attack
For your info. If everyone
who gets this sends it to 10 people, you can bet
that we'll save at least
one life.
Read This...It could save
your life!
Let's say it's 6:15 p.m.
and you're driving home (alone of course), after an
unusually hard day on the
job. You're really tired, upset and frustrated.
Suddenly you start experiencing
severe pain in your chest that starts to
radiate out into your arm
and up into your jaw. You are only about five
miles from the hospital
nearest your home. Unfortunately you don't know if
you'll be able to make it
that far. What can you do?You've been trained
in CPR but the guy that
taught the course did not tell you how to perform it
on yourself.
